Overview
The Continuous Improvement Project Manager will be responsible for finding and implementing process improvements and best practices across each Home Chef site.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site support for National CI team project implementation:
- Spend time training site teams across each shift to ensure adoption of new processes and technologies
- Act as liaison for troubleshooting and resolution of startup issues
Identify operational efficiency opportunities and work with sites to implement and sustain best practices:
- Guided by KPI's, travel to sites and work with leadership teams to find resolution to special-cause and common-cause process deviations
- Foster and develop sites continuous improvement skillset, problem solving methodology, and data driven decision making through routine visits and training
Data collection and analysis:
- Utilize Home Chef KPI's for project selection and root cause analysis
- Collect before and after data on trials of new methods or configurations
- Create tools as needed to help track and sustain changes
This position requires approximately 50% travel.
Qualifications

- C ompletion of a four-year degree program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production/operational environments or working directly with those in a production/operational environment
- Minimum of 1 year of successful project management experience in a fast-paced environment and a track record of leading by example
- Interpersonal skills to work with team members across functions and in both production and corporate environments
- Analytical proficiency to meet variable needs of the business
- Ability to think "outside-the-box"
- Ability to react on the fly to unforeseen production and planning scenarios as they arise
- Computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, PowerPoint, Google Sheets)
- Strong ability to track details and to keep track of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results-oriented attitude; able to multi-task and get things done
- Willingness to embrace change and adjust quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
Salary range: $85000 - $105000
