West Monroe is in the process of developing its new long-term Strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with firm leadership to ensure we meet our Strategic goals through successful translation, implementation, and execution of the Strategy over time. This is a new role, so we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is comfortable with ambiguity and change and wants to build new processes from the ground-up to influence the direction of the firm.
Specific responsibilities of this role include ensuring firmwide achievement of Strategic goals and objectives – including benefit realization and organization alignment (Target Operating Model) to support the everyday execution of our Strategy, proposing initiatives to ensure achievement of Strategic goals, and building and evolving the firmwide strategy management program to monitor Strategy achievement.
The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, and project management with experience in developing and operationalizing new processes within an organization. Ideal skills include a proven process orientation, a passion for collaborating across multiple stakeholders, outstanding interpersonal skills, and success managing priorities across a number of internal stakeholders and projects. He/she will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and the Executive Committee of West Monroe Partners while reporting into the Senior Manager of Strategic Growth.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
- Establishes and evolves the firmwide Strategy management program, including governance, monitoring, and communication - actively participates and coordinates program-level interactions with sponsors to ensure proper implementation
- Develops and evolves KPIs and associated dashboards to monitor and report progress/execution of strategic plan and drive decision making
- Tracks and monitors firmwide strategic KPIs, draws insights from analyzing internal data to identify and recommend any necessary adjustments, and helps prioritize areas of strategic investment (or divestment)
- Works with key leaders to ensure proper alignment of Strategy to operating model and identifies opportunities for improvement and increased alignment over time
- Collaborates with leadership to ensure business unit strategic plans reflect organizational strategic priorities
- Acts as a resource across the organization to increase broad cohesion of strategic plans
Liaises with EPMO to ensure appropriate prioritization and resource deployment in alignment with Strategic objectives - Mobilizes and manages through influencing teams of individuals, in particular practice, office, and shared services leads and operations teams, charged with executing the Strategy
- Works with communications and people teams to ensure effective communication and change management strategies
- Collaborates to identify opportunities for cross-functional synergies
- Participates in cross-functional teams to support execution of ad-hoc strategic initiatives, as needed
- Supports design and execution of firmwide strategy meetings and retreats
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum 6 - 8 years of work experience, with tenure as a consultant and managing projects
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Solid Microsoft Office Word skills.
- Strong experience designing and standing up internal processes
- Ability to lead teams by influence, activating others to execute and drive results by collaborating across functions in a matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for change management, stakeholder management, and relationship building
- Comfortable with ambiguity, considering it an opportunity to build something and have an impact
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast pace environment
- Ability to effectively work in group environment
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated initiative and persistence
- A high degree of independence and executive presence
- Strong communication skills with prior experience preparing and delivering executive level presentations
- High level of maturity in a highly visible role with access to confidential information
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
