The Cybersecurity DMS Program Manager is a new role responsible for leading execution and optimization of department DMS efforts. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is to partner with BT Cybersecurity teams to scale and optimize DMS lean and agile practices. A second key responsibility is to oversee Agile Release Train (ART) processes, planning, execution and continuous improvement. The Program Manager may also oversee other major cybersecurity initiatives as required.
Responsibilities:
Set direction, organize and enable collaboration across cross-functional teams
Perform duties of the Cybersecurity DMS Program Manager such as:
- Partner with key Cyber stakeholders on strategic planning to ensure alignment on timing, resource needs and execution plans
- Coordinate events and lead tactical projects in support of Cyber programs
- Ensure lean management systems are effectively adopted
Perform duties of the Cybersecurity Release Train Engineer such as:
- Establish Program Increments calendar; plan and facilitate PI planning events; aggregate team objectives into Program PI objectives
- Manage and track program level execution and PI feature delivery; escalate impediments and risks; create and report applicable metrics
- Drive program level continuous improvement and consistency; collaborate with other RTEs for resolving prioritization, conflicts and synchronization
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Release Trains
- Identify unique opportunities and challenges associated with driving continuous improvements
Mentor and coach staff to assist in professional development
Prepare reports and presentation material on a variety of topics for all levels of management and oversight organizations
Stay abreast of trends, assess impact and recommend executable actions
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
H.S. Diploma or GED
8+ years of experience in Information Security, IT , or related field
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science , or related field
- Extensive experience with Discover DMS and Agile practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to anticipate roadblocks, identify alternatives and negotiate successful outcomes
- 2+ years as Release Train Engineer
- 5+ years Program Office leadership
Certifications
Scaled Agile (SAFe) related certification
