How you’ll help
As the Director of Program Management, you’ll be responsible for the delivery and overall success (in partnership with our product team) of our product and tool development initiatives. You will work closely with leaders in our product, creative, technology and leadership teams to make sure our work is prioritized based on business need and all teams are as effective as possible in delivering outcomes. To get there, you’ll need to evaluate our current deployment of Agile methodology and processes and work across the organization to create consistency and transform our teams, processes and understanding of how we work best.
What you’ll do
- Drive the high level roadmap for all our products, tools and their interdependencies
- Evolve Jellyvision’s Agile methodology and work within the organization to create understanding and commitment to it
- Provide counsel and guidance as Jellyvision evolves our overall organizational structures to make us flatter, faster, and less complex and to help us better empower teams to make great decisions
- Manage and develop the program management and agile facilitation teams
- Manage financial planning and tracking, including product budgets
- Initiate and set deadlines and goals for each product and related team according to the strategic objectives of the organization
- Facilitate talent deployment of all product and tool development teams based on business priorities
- Create systematic and effective communication with leadership, stakeholders and the broader organization
- Setup tools and standards for clear, consistent metric tracking
- Develop strong relationships with leaders in the creative, product and technology organizations to anticipate risks and roadblocks
- Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity
Experience & skills you’ll need
- 10+ years practical experience in project and program management, including leadership of complex scalable products and projects
- Experience leading an Agile transformation within a company
- Understanding of project management techniques and product development frameworks, when they work best, and how to build complimentary practices for the needs of the organization
- Strong written and oral communication skills and proven ability to build relationships and trust, lead through influence and guide strategy across multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and facilitation skills
- Knowledge and experience in the roll-out and use of the various tools to aid program management
- Technical acumen enough to ask great questions and challenge our assumptions
- Experience with data analysis, reporting and budgeting
- Ability to not only manage and develop talent but also establish strong, successful teams
- Desire to find innovative ways to resolve problems
