Director, Software Program Management
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director - Software Program Management is responsible for leading program and project management functions across all bswift technology initiatives. The Director - Software Program Management will also serve as the bswift's Agile Transformation Leader
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver "raving fan" support directly to internal technology teams and indirectly to bswift client teams, clients and channel partners.
- Build and manage a team of program mangers, project managers and scrum masters providing support and leveraging bswift project management practices across technology initiatives.
- Lead the bswift technology team agile transformation, including, but not limited to establishing scrum team best practices, mentoring scrum team members and creating applicable metrics.
- Manage and communicate program governance across project request intake, solutioning and development across requests from development, user experience, system engineering, quality assurance, business, sales and operational teams.
- Provide hands-on management of the bswift product delivery life-cycle and associated communication.
- Collaborate with portfolio and product management to drive deployment and adoption of new solutions and best practices.
- Articulate program and project management strategy & manage change to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including technology and bswift leadership.
- Assist sales and operations with customer presentations in your role as subject matter expert.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience with product management or technical teams
- 5+ years of relevant experience leveraging Agile development methodologies
- Proven success in developing new associates
- Track record of building and managing strong teams
- Experience with benefit administration systems preferred
- Broad knowledge of new technologies preferred
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
