To better serve our clients, we are seeking an Engagement Manager to join our team in Joliet, easily accessible by commuter rail from Chicago. Our Engagement Manager will organize all our client work, making sure our Principal and our other consultants are using their time, skills, and experience to help our clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities will include:
Work with HData’s consultants to make sure they are spending their time to provide the best possible service to each of HData’s clients.
Create and manage project plans for each of HData’s engagements, regularly reporting on progress.
Manage HData’s relationships to its clients, including resolving client issues, and promote relationships between and among HData’s clients.
Manage invoices and billing for each of HData’s engagements and support budgeting and financial planning with respect to HData’s engagements.
Working with our Principal, prepare and present engagement proposals for new and existing clients.
Create and manage an accelerator experience for HData’s clients.
Working with our Principal and directors, develop and execute a strategy for acquiring and serving clients whose solutions can form a comprehensive RegTech platform
Perform other managerial tasks as needed, including some office and event management.
Desired qualifications include:
At least four years’ experience in a relevant field, such as strategy consulting, public-sector technology, or regulatory compliance
Experience leading consulting-based engagements or project management
Ability to negotiate, communicate effectively, and manage multiple projects at once
Degree in business, technology, or policy (advanced preferred)
