Facility Reliability Project Manager
Home Chef Facility Reliability Manager is responsible for providing leverage to the National Facilities Manager by effectively supporting the management of maintenance and capital improvement projects across all fulfillment centers. The Facility Reliability Manager is responsible for driving results by establishing and holding accountability to high quality expectations for the overall care, sustainability, and safe work conditions of the fulfillment centers to support business needs.
Capital Project Management
- Collaborate with the National Facilities Manager, Plant Directors, and department leaders to establish a prioritized schedule for capital implementation based on individualized plant needs.
- Maintain a pipeline of projects and goals while collaborating with plant leaders to establish realistic, aggressive timelines and drives accountability for the completion of established goals.
- Source and onboard quality, reliable vendors to support capital or maintenance projects.
- Enforce Home Chef safety requirements with all hired contractors or subcontractors working on projects.
Growth and Development of the Home Chef Maintenance Excellence Program
- Collaborates with the National Facilities Manager to continue the development of the Home Chef Maintenance Excellence program and supports Facility Maintenance Managers in their execution of the strategy.
- Develop national PM strategy and program to maximize equipment uptime and availability.
- Partner with the site maintenance teams to build out Home Chef spare parts program.
- Build strong working relationships with all fulfillment center-based leaders including Maintenance Manager/Supervisors and continually strive to help the plant leaders to grow and improve in their roles.
- Provides both positive and developmental feedback to plant maintenance leaders.
Ops-Excellence + Fulfillment Team Project Support
- Collaborate with the Operations Excellence team to ensure Home Chef operator technology roll-outs are successful.
- Partner with site team members to identify and develop projects to support the continuous improvement of the site operation.
- Develop creative solutions to address site bottlenecks to unlock capacity or improve safety/food safety.
- Assist plant department leaders with problem solving issues impacting their KPI’s or project deadlines.
Communication & Training

- Demonstrate willingness to work flexible hours and travel frequently to the fulfillment centers to provide regular on-site support, guidance, and drive accountability.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship and act as a supportive partner with the plant managers and Home Chef leadership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven direct supervision and management experience (Food Manufacturing preferred)
- Associate’s / Bachelor's preferred
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience in food manufacturing highly desirable
- Experience with Safety, Maintenance, and Food Safety Policies and Procedures highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage conflict, achieve alignment, and facilitate problem-solving and collaboration amongst cross functional teams
