We're hiring a Fulfillment Special Projects Coordinator to help our ever busy operations teams. You will lead people strategy projects and work closely with the Fulfillment People Strategy Manager to provide support to our fulfillment centers.

Project lead for Home Chef people strategy initiatives:

  • Lead complex people projects that are critical to Home Chef’s operations and HR teams collaborative goals
  • Assists in developing detailed project plans to track and ensure project objectives and milestones are met on time, within scope and budget 
  • Drives strong communication between corporate and fulfillment center to gain buy in and alignment on projects and priorities 
  • Partners closely with the HR team to make impactful people related improvements (e.g. retention efforts, onboarding improvements, and operations organizational structure)
  • Able to work through complex problems our operations teams are facing and leverage key stakeholders to achieve a resolution 

Drives continuous improvement initiatives:

  • Drive impactful, lasting change through continuous improvement initiatives by working alongside managers, supervisors, team leads, and hourly employees 
  • Able to influence department owners, plant employees and other key stakeholders to adopt new solutions and processes
  • Partners with plant teams to review the effectiveness of initiatives
  • Checks in with plant stakeholders after project implementation to ensure intended outcomes are met
  • Ensures standardization across all three sites is maintained after implementation

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field
  • At least 1 year experience with a consulting firm or 2 years in strategic/operational role in a fast-growing start-up or corporate environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to structure, prioritize and resolve issues 
  • At least 2 years experience of project management skills with a focus on rigorous prioritization 
  • Comfortable working with analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Google sheets) and complex data
  • Able to envision tactical solutions that will work in hands-on operation environments with ease 
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator 
  • High aptitude for tightly organized planning and process management, and strong attention to detail 
  • Interpersonal skills to work with team members in both production and corporate environments 
  • This position requires 10%-25% travel
