In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of compliance professionals who specialize in tax and payroll. You and your team will ensure our payroll products provide a best-in-class client experience by delivering intuitive, compliant products to help them manage their workforce.
What you'll do:
- Manage team of compliance and government relations professionals
- Manage legislative and regulatory changes as they impact our suite of products
- Monitor changing legislative and regulatory requirements, focusing on tax and payroll
- Implement and manage streamlined processes to ensure efficient, accurate work
- Assess risk to organization and clients posed by legislative changes
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure system changes are deployed smoothly
- Create and distribute communications regarding these changes to internal and external stakeholders
- Represent Paylocity in industry groups and agency meetings
- Approximately 15-20% travel required
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in payroll industry
- Prior experience managing team
- Prior experience as a compliance professional
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills for multiple audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Skilled at prioritizing and multi-tasking
- Strong research and problem solving skills #SH
