Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure a common understanding of all projects under development – identify, acquire, and manage resources for implementing projects on time and in budget.
- Responsible for the preparation of project bids (estimates), schedules, and milestones for team members.
- Initiate action to identify and resolve project problems / issues and reports to management on mitigating steps and actions to ensure timely deliverables, project success and overall quality.
- Responsible for driving the team’s efforts to continuously improve implementation efficiency and productivity through the creative application of development and project management techniques and leading-edge technologies.
- Develop internal TMS customer relations / collaborative atmosphere; and guide a shared vision.
- Develop and implement policy, procedure and protocol to facilitate and enhance timely and accurate production.
- Create and implement quality control programs.
- Keep abreast of advances in print technology and implementation as necessary.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Science or Business degree with agency, printing or publishing experience with strong technical production skills.
- 8-10 years of integrated production experience (traditional, digital display and video) with significant skill in general business management, project planning, process management, workflow coordination, implementation tracking and progress reporting.
- Significant leadership and people management skills within a printing or agency environment.
- Demonstrates achievement in leading large-scale projects.
- Achievement in web and information technologies a plus.
- Advanced computer expertise in a wide range of programs, multi-platform user a plus.
- Outstanding communications skills (written, verbal, and presentational).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and inter-personal skills.
- Experience in developing strategies and delivering process improvements.
- Knowledgeable of emerging technologies.
- Able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Handles crisis adeptly, calmly and assuredly, a problem solver.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A ‘people person’ who is comfortable dealing with a variety of personalities.
- Enjoys mentoring and helping managers grow their skills.
- Menu board experience a plus.
