Integration Analyst, Workplace & Retirement Solutions
Morningstar seeks an Integration Analyst to support the implementations of our institutional clients that license our managed accounts service including our new platform for advisors, Advisor Managed Accounts. The Implementation Management Team serves as the backbone for onboarding new clients into the Workplace group. The team has a large reach with a variety of internal teams (Product, Operations, Relationship Management, and Technology) in order to seamlessly integrate our services into the group. We do this by developing high touch and deep-rooted relationships with our institutional clients.
As an Integration Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Implementation Managers with integrations. You will assess project requirements to confirm operational readiness and identify internal and external dependencies in a project. You understand and are able to operate within the Scrum framework to deliver business value. As an Integration Analyst, you will communicate and work effectively within and across teams to ensure the success of the integration.
Responsibility:
• Serve as point of contact for our Plan Provider clients
• Conduct user acceptance testing and logic validation, where necessary, for integrations
• Attend client meetings and distribute communication to appropriate team members
• Answer client questions regarding implementation tasks
• Track the progress and quality of cross-functional work by conducting review sessions with clients
• Support project management deliverables
• Provide client feedback and/or requirements to Product Team
• Track and update tickets in JIRA related to the integration
• Possess mid-level knowledge to answer a variety of product and technical questions
• Partner with Implementation and Operation teams to ensure processes are executed to meet client expectations
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Able to effectively use tools such as JIRA and Excel to manage projects
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical aspects to a non-technical audience
• Experienced with SQL, XML, Web Service, SAML, schemas, APIs
• Understanding of mutual funds, financial/investment concepts and retirement market a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required
