Job Description

Scout RFP, a Workday Company, is a sourcing and supplier engagement platform trusted by procurement teams to streamline their process, manage a unified pipeline of projects, and collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers. As an Integration Consultant supporting the Scout product line, you will work closely with our customer project teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of the Scout platform. Integration Consultants help manage integration deliverables associated with implementation projects while possessing a deep knowledge of service oriented architecture design principals, and an in-depth knowledge of various integration technologies. Integration Consultants brings a consultative approach to our customers and a history of successful integration deployments.

 

What you will accomplish:

  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate with others on determining priorities, setting customer expectations and managing inter-dependencies between technical and functional work-streams
  • Create and provide detailed functional specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved, as it relates to product integrations, API’s, connectors, and data migration 
  • Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration as it relates to technical execution
  • Work with customer technical, functional, and project management resources to successfully ensure project go live and set customer team up for success
  • Analyze current technologies used within customers establish technical solutions and or process improvements
  • Act as the liaison between customers and our product teams to tailor and fine-tune our product roadmap & customer deliverables as it relates to our API connections and integrations
  • Will require 33% travel to engage with customers directly
  • Pioneer the delivery practice for the Scout team

 

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years implementing integration solutions with ERP software

  • 3+ years Financial software application experience

  • 3+ Years integrating systems with third-party service vendors

  • Proven experience of implementing custom SaaS solutions and/or technical project management or customer support

  • Track record of leading workshops and/or facilitating meetings with multilevel internal and customer 

  • Command of Service Oriented Architecture Concepts

  • Ability to scope the source and destination of REST API integrations across a phased project

  • EDI, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML or other integration technologies

  • Technical project leadership: lead integration initiatives and other integration team members on projects

  • Aptitude and ability for learning new technologies and technical skills quickly

  • Passion for customer service

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience leading international teams on North American projects is a plus

  • A deep knowledge of service-oriented architecture design principles, common Procurement & Sourcing design patterns, phased implementation methodologies, an in-depth knowledge of various integration technologies, a consultative approach to your customers, and a history of successful integration deployments, a role as an Integration Consultant may be a great match.

  • Track record of leading workshops and/or facilitating meetings with multilevel internal and customer audiences

  • Excellent consulting skillset, including discovery, analysis and project leadership

  • Drive and motivation to take on additional responsibilities over time

  • Good sense of humor coupled with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 33%

  • LOCATION: San Francisco / Chicago

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience running Procurement and Sourcing teams or projects
  • Familiarity with implementing Procurement and Sourcing Solutions or workflow-based applications
  • 1+ year(s) Workday integration experience
  • Advanced degree (M.A., M.S., MBA etc.)
