As the Inclusion & Diversity Lead Project Manager, you will play a key role to create a more inclusive and collaborative workplace culture globally, while helping to expand and retain our diverse talent workforce.  We love curious and creative people who discover new approaches to finding, retaining, and engaging talent.

 

We are committed to finding a Lead Project Manager who has great experience developing, managing, and assisting in the execution of project plans, including associated budget overview. You will work with the leadership of the Inclusion & Diversity Business Resource Groups and Councils to oversee the development of project plans to track and analyze I&D initiative effectiveness, and serve as a liaison and advisor on process and budgeting requirements.

 

You will play a key role in building organizational structure to scale I&D integration, as well as ensure internal stakeholder engagement aligns with the overall strategy.  This role will have a high degree of ownership and contribute as a thought leader to global I&D strategy development and execution of related activities. In your next role at Groupon you will:

  • You will report in to the Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity

  • Assist in the development and management of the I&D multi-year strategic implementation plan under the model of objectives, project lead, goals and tasks to ensure progress and accountability on an ongoing basis

  • Develop and own measurement system to track and analyze I&D initiative effectiveness for partnerships, BRGs, and councils to determine future trends and needs

  • Manage the complete life cycle of I&D projects and initiatives--including approval, budget and project planning, project lead assignments, and evaluation--to ensure planned results are achieved on time

 

We’re excited if you have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years experience in a project or program manager function

  • Experience leading cross functional project teams

  • Experience working in a fast moving technology company

  • Prior experience with diversity programs and overseeing programing  

  • Excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills such as project/process management and ability to utilize data to evaluate success

  • Relevant subject matter expertise in the formulation, design, and execution of inclusion and diversity strategies and outreach practices, proficiency in the areas of cultural competency, and understanding of diverse communication styles

  • Ability to make decisions using business judgment, innovative and creative problem-solving

  • The ability to lead in a global, cross-functional capacity

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and show resilience in a fast-paced, complex environment

  • Exhibit a high degree of ownership required to succeed in a high growth organization.

  • Effectively articulate business value through multiple ways of communication

  •  
  • Organize and facilitate small group meetings with stakeholders in the planning and execution of I&D initiatives and programs.

  • Manage project plans for deliverables for I&D initiatives with a constant focus towards continuous improvement and operational scalability

  • In collaboration with the I&D Senior Lead, expand current retention and career development programming through mentoring and professional development opportunities

  • Assist Diversity Recruitment Program Manager in identifying, building, and sustaining community partnerships to support corporate diversity and inclusion projects, plans, initiatives, and business strategies

  • Conduct ongoing research on best practices and recommend strategies for continuous improvement of diversity initiatives

  • Manage logistics for global I&D workshops, follow up surveys, metrics and program improvements

  • Manage I&D social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, People Blog)
