Job Description
TITLE: Lead Scrum Master
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Scrum Master in Riverwoods, IL to follow and promote agile methodology and all related scrum ceremonies within an agile team. Enable team to work as effectively as possible. Ensure impediments are resolved and the team meets sprint objectives and releases. Coach the team to own and continuously improve their process and practices. Facilitate team activities, including daily stand up meetings, grooming, sprint planning, demonstrations, release planning, and team retrospectives. Manage sprint release deliverables and proactively identify and resolve impediments. Ensure sprint releases stay on track and update sprint activities in agile planning and execution tracking tool. Communicate agile team's progress, dependencies, and impediments. Participate in program increment (PI) planning events. Identify dependencies between agile teams then communicate and resolve dependencies. Promote a risk aware culture to ensure efficient and effective compliance management standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: facilitating conversations between Product Owners and Engineers; managing concurrent activities in the context of a team during the various development stages; utilizing technology, including Git, Jenkins, Java, Springboot, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, React, Testing Automation, API development, and Networking / Firewalls; utilizing business acumen to help resolve customer engagement via technology; utilizing analytics and reporting tooling to identify application defects and target opportunities for enhancement, including SiteCatalyst, AppDynamics, Grafana, ELK stack, Contrast, Sonar, and NexusIQ; working with Agile tooling/processes used for team administration, including Workday, Jira, Rally, Miro, and Jenkins; and developing and leading teams in Agile workflows, including regular ceremonies plus ad-hoc efforts.
