Job Description
Responsible for following and promoting agile methodology and all related scrum ceremonies within an agile team. Enables team to work as effectively as possible. Ensures impediments are resolved and the team meets sprint objectives and releases stay on track. Coaches the team to own and continuously improve their process and practices.
How You’ll Do It
- Facilitates team activities including daily stand up meetings, grooming, sprint planning, demonstrations, release planning, and team retrospectives. Manages sprint release deliverables and proactively identifies and resolves impediments. Ensures sprint releases stay on track and updates sprint activities in agile planning and execution tracking tool. Communicates agile team's progress, dependencies, and impediments. Participates in program increment (PI) planning events.
- Identifies dependencies between agile teams then communicates and resolves dependencies.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics:
- Bachelor's degree in business or Information Technology
- 4+ years of experience in Agile, Scrum, or related experience
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Agile, Scrum, or related experience

- SAFe Scrum Master Certification
- Experience working for a large, highly sophisticated organization
Data Warehouse platforms
- Keeps the agile team on track and informed
- Lead and coaches scrum adoption.
- Implement project management best practices
- Implement changes and steps to increase team's productivity.
- Collaborates with other scrum masters to improve efficiencies.
- Facilitate daily standups.
- Host sprint planning and sprint review (retrospectives).
- Address and escalate any risks and blockers the team faces.
- Scrum master should help protect their team by acting as a buffer from disruptions.
- Supports product owners by effectively manage product backlog, help communicate between the product owner and the product team, and organizes scrum events as necessary.
Product Owners: Data Warehouse Platforms (knowledge of databases strongly preferred)
- Product Owner defines the vision for the team and is the point person by using their perspective to define goals and create a vision for the development projects.
- Responsible for communicating with stakeholders across the board.
- Communicate with the scrum master and agile team to ensure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives.
- Provides product roadmap as necessary to help provide a strategic visual summary that outlines the vision and direction of the project.
- Responsible for managing the project backlog; create list of backlog items and prioritize based on overall strategy and business objectives
- Identify and map out dependencies to inform necessary sequence of development.
- Will be responsible for being the primary communicator between the stakeholders and the team
- Prioritize the needs by juggling the triangle of scope, budge, time and prioritizes of the stakeholders.
- Oversee development stages by spending time overseeing actual development of the product.
- Evaluates product progress at each iteration. Accountable for each stage of the development process to the final product delivery. #LI-BG1 #Remote #BI-Remote
