 About the Role 

CMMS Data Group seeks a driven Maintenance & Reliability Consultant to serve as a subject matter expert within our consulting team. The consultant provides asset management and reliability consulting to clients, implements CMMS systems, trains end users or clients on the functions of the CMMS application, and performs maintenance and reliability related activities. The maintenance & reliability consultant also gives direction to the client on PM optimization, development of KPIs, and CMMS standards to deliver our total solution of reliability services. This role requires a minimum of 60% travel.

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement maintenance and reliability best practices. 
  • Prepare planned maintenance scopes and procedures, using both preventative and predictive techniques. 
  • Perform analysis and maintenance optimization assessments. 
  • Conduct analysis of inventory storerooms to increase level of standardization and interchangeability.  
  • Participate in the integrated maintenance process to facilitate action plans that will improve the organization’s ability to reduce operating costs and improve reliability.  
  • Maintain adequate documentation of maintenance engineering analysis techniques and results such that progress can be readily communicated to the client, to the corporate office, and can be reapplied elsewhere in manufacturing.  
  • Train clients on various CMMS software packages. 
  • Provide a high level of customer service. 
  • Provide technical support to clients. 
  • Ability to follow accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries. 

Qualifications 

  • Maintenance and/or engineering experience in manufacturing. 
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to perform and work well under pressure. 
  • The ability to handle day-to-day work challenges and shifting priorities. 
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills and professionalism. 
  • Proven ability to write clear and concise documentation, procedures, and correspondence. 
  • Attention to detail, clear verbal and written communication skills, can handle daily activities in a dynamic environment, and drive deliverables. 

Preferred Qualifications/Technologies 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of planner and scheduling functions. 
  • Experience as a maintenance manager or maintenance engineer.
  • CMRP Certification 
  • Knowledge in CMMS/EAM. 
  • Experience with configuring and installing applications.
