Marketing Automation and Data Specialist
We are looking for a Marketing Automation & Data Specialist to join our growing Marketing team! You will be a key player in insuring HS2 is following best practices related to Marketing Automation and Marketing Data Management for HS2’s internal marketing function.
You will report to our Senior Director of Marketing and work closely with HS2 Business Development team and marketing leaders with a goal of helping HS2 execute inbound and outbound marketing campaigns that result in the growth of Marketing Qualified Leads.
Responsibilities:
- Design, define and deploy optimized workflows and data structures to support HS2 marketing
- Serve as HS2’s hands-on expert and administrator of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Help drive the adoption, awareness, and necessary skill levels of Salesforce applications and processes throughout the organization
- Maintain connections between various products (Sales Cloud/Marketing Cloud)
- Maintain reports, dashboards, and email templates - democratize data to company
- Assist with data cleanliness, list management, and list imports
- Help with Google’s and Adobe’s required tracking in their Salesforce
- Provide general user assistance and support
- In collaboration with marketing leadership, execute outbound campaigns using Salesforce Email Studio following best practices: Email Tagging, Subject line testing, Analytics, and Deliverability
- Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce Marketing cloud capabilities and share information summaries with HS2 Sales and Marketing teams
- Help with automation related to management of HS2 account, contact, lead and opportunity data in Salesforce
- Build Salesforce reports and help with distribution
- Evaluate data sources and manage HS2’s marketing lists
- Assist with best practices for HS2 databases, such as DiscoverOrg
- Proactively identify and resolve data cleanliness issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years previous professional work experience in a high-performing growing organization
- 1-2 years hands on Experience with SalesForce, including report writing, data importing
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of email marketing, web analytics preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships internally and with prospective client contacts and partners
- Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Marketing, business, or computer degree preferred
