The OmniPanel Solution Consultant is responsible for articulating and demonstrating how Numerator solutions provide visibility, insights, efficiencies, and financial value for CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) organizations. This includes the ability to discuss, collect, and understand business requirements, determine the optimal solution(s) and approach to meet and exceed these requirements, propose alternative solutions when requirements cannot be fully met, handle objections, demonstrate relevant real-world use cases and advanced product concepts within the solution itself, and estimate and articulate the expected business value resulting from partnering with Numerator. The OmniPanel Solution Consultant will possess a wealth of knowledge and industry experience upon which to rely not only to solve these complex business issues but also to build credibility with the prospective customer. Ultimately, the OmniPanel Solution Consultants work the Sales Directors to drive successful conversion of prospects to customers while engaging with existing customers to expand their relationships and maintain a current perspective of industry issues, trends, and solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support sales efforts by leading and delivering detailed demonstrations of the InfoScout Omninpanel solution capabilities to consumer and market insights leaders at strategic CPG companies, as a subject matter expert, in coordination with the outside sales team assigned to those accounts
  • Support the Sales team in developing best practice demonstration scripts, ROI analyses, and use cases designed to support pre-sales efforts on household panel opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Client Services team to document ROI for insights delivered to clients
  • Possess a deep understanding of Numerator solutions and services including their key differentiators versus legacy approaches and competing offerings
  • Work with strategic customers and Numerator's leadership to identify and prioritize new solutions and enhanced capabilities within Numerator's portfolio
  • Understand everything there is to know about Numerator's data collection and attribution process to be an external and internal technical expert
  • Comfortable with facilitating internal and client sessions on strategic business questions and identifying potential solutions with 5-15 people
  • Discover and explore interesting facts about consumer behaviors for presentation in industry forums, articles, whitepapers and blog posts
  • Travel, as required, to support the above responsibilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred)
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a software client services role or sales engineer position for a company selling into consumer products is helpful
  • CPG experience in Brand Marketing, Market Research, including knowledge of Consumer Insights or experience as a service provider to these functions (must be able to speak the language at a granular level of detail, understand their key strategic initiatives and how consumer data can be leveraged to achieve their goals)
  • Deep understanding and expertise of household panel data (Nielsen, IRI, and/or NPD), and how consumer insights leaders at strategic CPG companies seek to utilize this data to uncover growth opportunities and manage their business is ideal
  • Relevant experience in a Consultant, Manager, or Director level capacity
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Dunnhumby)
  • Experience in providing customer demonstrations of a SaaS based software solution
  • Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and Business Intelligence software such as Microstrategy, Tableau, QlikView, or Business Objects
  • Strong understanding of quantitative survey methods and analysis is helpful but not required
  • SQL knowledge a plus, but not required
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, particularly with customers or prospects present
