TITLE: Principal Payment Technology Development
DUTIES: DFS Services LLC seeks Principal Payment Technology Development in Riverwoods, IL to develop specifications and corresponding testing program for new technologies including payment specifications such as QR code, new biometric authentication methods, AR/VR and new remote commerce capabilities. Ensure security requirements comply with industry standards. Participate in managing and developing, in concert with cross functional teams, a strategy and framework for testing, validation and certification for the new form factors enabling payment capabilities. Work with development teams of device manufacturers to ensure development conforms to Discover specifications. Ensure specifications leverage relevant industry standards including FIDO, W3C, GlobalPlatform, and EMVCo. Participate in industry standardization efforts for the new technology based payments. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related position: participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering and analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of high transactional volume applications; creating high-level (system overview) technical design documentation and detailed technical specifications including high level use case, class and sequence diagrams; and developing code using Java, JSP, XML, Struts, Spring, Websphere application server, UNIX, HTML and Web Services.
