Privacy Program Manager
About the Role
Morningstar’s privacy team guides our corporate and business partners with clear, practical advice in a fast-paced environment. The Privacy Program Manager will help develop and implement efficient and scalable policies, procedures and processes regarding privacy matters to our corporate and product partners. We are looking for collaborative, self-motivated and flexible people. A successful candidate will have some expertise in the current privacy & data protection regulatory regimes globally and a willingness and ability to learn more.
Job Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain policies, procedures and processes for privacy compliance in conjunction with product teams and corporate functions such as software/cloud teams, human resources and finance
+ Assist with documenting and regularly reviewing privacy policies, processes and procedures
+ Be a primary advisor to product teams, sales staff and other corporate partners for questions related to privacy
+ Manage privacy team projects
+ Respond to customer RFP’s, RFI’s and vendor questionnaires
+ Assist with creating, publishing, presenting and maintaining privacy and security educational/training material
+ Manage and operate privacy related technologies
+ Liaise with third party audit personnel as required
Qualifications
+ A bachelor’s degree
+ 4+ years of relevant (program or project management in privacy or compliance) experience
+ Ability to exercise good judgement and balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations
+ Ability to prioritize, adapt, and autonomously work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment
+ Familiarity with IT audits and risk assessments preferred
+ Familiarity with security and privacy frameworks and general privacy & security concepts preferred
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and switch priorities with short notice
+ Strong business analysis, research and analytical skills
+ CIPP Certification preferred
