Summary:
The Process Project Lead role is to support the business goals by designing and developing process improvements/best practices through learning experiences for both internal and external clients. As a Process Project Lead, you will help design world-class online or in-person training deliverables and establish learning pathways that promote professional development and technical expertise for internal and external audiences across the globe. You will utilize acquired knowledge to identify anomalies in internal and external process and you will work with subject matter experts to identify your target audiences training needs and apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods that facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. Responsibilities:
- Consult and Influence - Work side-by-side with the internal teams to define a set of goals and objectives and create a roadmap for future company success. Engage with internal teams to design, create , facilitate, and update engaging content to assist in training and learning.
- Plan, Create and Facilitate - Develop unique onboarding and training content for internal and external clients. Assist in the facilitation and training of internal employees. Assist in the design and deliver live webinars for external clients and create recordings for asynchronous viewing.
- Problem Solve - problem solve internal training content and client help content issues as necessary for a complete resolution. Help maintain content in the Learning Management System ensuring that internal teams receive prompt attention and resolution.
- Communicate - actively listen to others to understand opportunities and situations. Keep leaders and team members informed of progress and obstacles related to training, seeking feedback as necessary and responding appropriately to improve work performance and optimize DFIN and customer success.
- Analyze - understand and proactively use available data streams to forecast internal team and client patterns, identify trends, and create opportunities for improvement.
- Learn - Develop and expand knowledge of industry requirements, software, and Learning and Development trends to provide fully developed content to external and internal clients.
- Autonomy - Exercise high-levels of discretion and latitude in completing responsibilities and projects with minimal daily supervision.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of proven work experience in either instructional design, instructional technology, process development or project management.
- BA/BS (minimum), MA (preferred) degree in education, instructional design, educational technology or similar
Additional Skills:
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new methods and software applications
- Strong consultative and Project Management experience.
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment
- Applied knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Visual design skills (Adobe Suite) and ability to storyboard
- Experience in video creation and editing software (Camtasia)
- Website creation and management
- Create visual graphics and publishing's for the business as needed
- LMS administration experience
- Ability to apply adult learning and instructional design theory to all learning content
- Ability to create assessment instruments testing learner outcomes
- Can work closely with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
- Experience applying tested instructional design theories, practice and methods

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities

- Should be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external clients.
- Exbibit excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Partners well within the internal network to ensure client needs are met.
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Working knowledge of course development software (Articulate Suite and/or Captivate)
- Technical writing of client facing self-help documentation
- Ability to manage a client facing help site, including the content management, creation, review, updating and publishing
- Live client webinar creation, facilitation, and management
