Position Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scope of work: Manages multiple projects within a program structure. Organizes, guides, and reviews the work facilitation efforts of Project Managers working within their programs.
  • Framework: Applies an advanced knowledge of Agile and other project and program management concepts, practices and procedures
  • Program Planning: Reviews and consolidates all project plans developed for each project within a program, leading conflict resolution.
  • Budgeting: Integrates cost baselines into overall program cost budget and actuals. Conducts in-depth root cause analysis of project/program budget discrepancies.
  • Project/Program Resource Management: Works with ES leaders to effectively align resources across a program, proposing solutions to address resource conflicts.
  • Project Delivery Launch: Ensures all resources are accounted for and aligned to work prior to execution; facilitates discussions to ensure any resourcing gaps are addressed.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Aggregates, prepares and deliver regularly scheduled status reports
  • Risk Management: Identifies, analyzes and manages program risks and potential impacts
  • Standards, Policies & Procedures: Assists with the development of program and project management delivery tool sets.
  • Coaching/Mentoring: Provides guidance to Project Managers

Position Requirements:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

  • 8+ years Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Multiple Project Management certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology is required.
  • Innate ability to build collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams; seen as a leader.
  • Best-in-class communication, organizational and influencing skills
