PROJECT COORDINATOR

As a Project Coordinator with Braintree you will be critical in managing the delivery and expansion of our Global offering across many markets -- we need to grow both in existing “proven” markets and we need to grow into new markets. You must have a passion for defining, measuring and managing business goals with a wide range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and possess strong project management skills to shepherd these deliverables from definition to deployment across sales, technology, marketing and credit/risk and beyond.

The ability to build and maintain relationships with our technology and business partners is critical, as is effective communication with everyone from individual contributors through senior level managers. This is your opportunity to help deliver business-critical features and work as part of a highly-talented global team to deliver new markets and optimize existing.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Global Payment Partners team to assist in managing the business roadmap and prioritizing activities across all markets. Work together with various teams to effectively manage trade-offs between cost, schedule and customer benefit.
  • Support the team by collecting information needed to define metrics and monitor results against defined KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communications across various global business, operations and product teams spanning multiple time zones
  • Schedule and participate in discussions and produce documentation of lessons learned to drive continuous improvement into all project and people management processes
  • Perform project coordination activities for all current relationships and related projects, including active mitigation of any risks to the project scope and schedule and provide status updates
  • Address internal questions and escalations from multiple communication channels

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience in a payments/e-commerce environment
  • Experience with financial, sales and pipeline reports
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Strong people management skills and proven ability to successfully manage up, down, and across an organization
  • Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters; solid prioritization skills are a must
  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills are critical to success in this role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills and listening skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to varying audiences
  • Proven track record in handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively, and thriving in a dynamic and complex environment
  • High degree of competency with project management including: Agile methodology, identifying and managing risks, tracking dependencies and milestones and communicating overall project status
  • Strong context shifting aptitude - ideal candidate must be able to seamlessly transition from tasks of varying levels of intensity and complexity quickly.
  • High energy and a positive outlook with the passion to make things better at every opportunity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and produce output as an individual contributor
