Job Description

Imagine working closely with the world’s biggest video game publishers, hardware manufacturers, and marketers to help them better understand the video gaming audience and to achieve success in creating and marketing products that evolve with the fast-paced gaming category. With best-in-class research and predictive analytical tools, the NielsenIQ BASES Games team is uniquely positioned to consult with clients and provide insights and intelligence to drive more effective decision making.

Be a critical member of the global project management team by assisting with execution of day-to-day tasks, operations, and discussions for custom and syndicated research related to the video games industry (console, PC, mobile, online, etc.)

A passion for gaming will enable you to conduct insightful, tailored marketing research studies for our clients.

OBJECTIVE

Ensure the highest quality consumer data on video gaming research studies based on client objectives industry knowledge, and research experience; serve as a consultant to the client, the account and analytical teams, the internal operations departments, and external vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with the senior Project Development staff on a global operations for custom and syndicated research.
  • Participate in ongoing communication between clients, internal Nielsen Games team, internal operations, and external vendors to design and execute objectives, manage the research change process, quality assurance, and solve any specific study issues.
  • Reviews proposals and discusses design issues to ensure accurate specifications and research standards are followed during data collection.
  • Collaborates with analysts and clients on basic study objectives, client issues, study design, and proposal, with supervision from senior staff.
  • Translates client objectives and analyst data needs into survey questions, respondent sample, and interview designs, with supervision from senior staff.
  • Coordinates, communicates, and documents all study issues, deadlines, schedules, and changes utilizing the appropriate tools.
  • Schedules and updates studies within appropriate study timeline.
  • Ensures error-free online surveys from the programming team.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Desired:

  • Experience/familiarity with project management/or project management role

  • Experience/familiarity with consumer survey-based/primary research and field methodologies

  • Experience with a second language
