DMDII is currently seeking an experienced, hands on Project Management Associate. You will become part of the team responsible for commercializing state of the art digital technologies for use in America’s factories. In this role, you will drive critical programs in the UI LABS DMDII factory and report to the Director of Manufacturing Research and Development.
The DMDII factory has several ongoing research projects in the areas of Industry 4.0, IOT, Systems Integration, and Cybersecurity. As our projects become more numerous and complex, DMDII needs an experienced Project Management Associate to plan, schedule, drive, and communicate project status to DMDII stakeholders.
+ Key Responsibilities
Participate in program portfolio reviews to understand organizational priorities
Plan major projects including milestones, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
Manage multiple projects in parallel
Drive regular project team meetings; capturing actions, owners, and updates
Continually communicate project status to stakeholders with risks, deviations to baseline, and mitigation plans
Solicit and archive post project lessons learned
+ Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical discipline
2-5 years of project management experience with small to medium sized projects
Experience in a technical environment including research, engineering, product development, and/or manufacturing
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface with the executive levels of both UI LABS and UI LABS’ commercial and academic partners.
Hands-on, team oriented, and committed to the advancement of manufacturing technologies
Strong risk assessment, problem solving, and corrective action capabilities
Self-driven with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
Proficient with MS Office and MS Project
PMP certification preferred
