We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, manage and support the delivery of new product solutions and technology solutions in support of our business objectives. The individual in this role will apply proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help identify, communicate, organize and manage projects to maximize the benefits of the Business Unit investments at TransUnion.

This is a very visible and hands-on project management role and the incumbent will have the opportunity to be the spokesperson for the capabilities we are building across a variety of audiences, as well lead cross-functional teams to define scope, plan, execute and deliver exceptional business value on time and within budget.

What You'll Bring

A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of hands on experience (infrastructure) project management coordination / PMO team experience, relevant functional experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and accuracy is a must

Strong meeting facilitation, organization and presentation skills

Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills.

Proven experience of effective cross team collaboration and quality documentation

Knowledge of working in an agile project development lifecycle and knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies coupled with previous experience working in an agile environment

Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) office, including strong MS excel macro and MS PowerPoint skills

Experience with project management tools (e.g. Rally, Confluence, Clarity).

Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams

A strategic outlook coupled with the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects

We’d Love to See:

Experience with Cloud Technology transformation projects.

Agile and SAFe certification is a plus.

Impact You'll Make

Define and develop the overall scope and activities with team members. Estimate effort, resource requirements, and completion dates.

Create project schedules and secures required resources and resolves conflicts. In a matrixed organization, coordinate and support the activities of project sponsors, business and technical resources, external partners, and external service providers to achieve project goals on time and on budget.

Utilize and contribute to various project management-related tools, including project planning and scheduling tools, scope prioritization and management tools.

Contribute to TransUnion’s Technology Transformation program by supporting the Project Management office from a financial, resourcing, communication perspective

Contribute to the flow of communication within the cross-functional teams

Leverage project management methodologies and techniques, particularly agile methodologies. 

Provide strong leadership, the ability to work and communicate with executive management, and the ability to manage multiple, independents cross-functional projects and milestones simultaneously or as one cohesive program.

Leverage your excellent planning, communication, negotiating, and collaboration skills.

Identify and manage project issues and risks and work to close or mitigate as appropriate

Specific area to focus as part of your Core responsibilities include:

Program CommunicationPrepare executive reports and presentations.

Gather program updates and socialize with the teams/presenters for various forums including leadership and steering committee meetings, program wide updates, Monthly Newsletter report etc.

Develop and maintain management dashboards and reports to capture progress

Budget planning and monitoringManage finance CapEx and OpEx to keep the project budget and spending on track

Collaborate with Finance for reviews to check labor and non-labor allocations, update resources, $, dates, etc.

Provide weekly updates of procurement tracker for non-labor items, and for labor for different vendors.

Monitoring of IDS hours for different Rise Clarity IDS

Resource Capitalization and EnablementOpen new PI in Clarity - Set up tasks and resources

Close Previous PI in Clarity

Create and Submit IDS AFE for Program funded resources

Plan resources needs with leadership and Finance

Resource Vendor Management - Working with vendors, and Business work streams in foundation to source resources

Change orders with vendors

AFEs for contracting

Manage contractor onboarding and off-boarding - Get resumes for candidates and coordinate with leaders/managers in respective areas

ProcurementMonitor all Foundation non labor purchasing

Work with the stakeholders to get updates on purchases
