Role: ​

The Vital Proteins family is looking to welcome a driven & passionate Project Manager, Innovation to join our team. This position requires experience in project management, stage gate processes, and deliver reporting throughout the organization. This role will report out of the West Loop office and report the Vice President of Innovation.

What you will be responsible for:

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and then, present the data clearly, concisely and accurately to necessary stakeholders involved

• Support and execute key PMO processes and procedures for new product launches and company initiatives

• Be comfortable communicating cross departmentally and hold team accountable to projects and deadlines

• Continue to look for improvement strategies and ability to critically provide feedback to respective teams

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree

• 2-5 years experience preferred in project and program management or related field of work

• Strong skills in project/program management and PMO tools such as MS Project, Planview, Clarity

• Project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience

• Interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal communication, organizational skills, project management skills must all be strong.

• PMP certification is preferred

• Prior CPG experience

• Prior Supply Chain/ Operations experience is a plus 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal direct supervision and the ability to adhere to aggressive deadlines

• Ability to manage across multiple projects

• You must have the ability to read, write and understand English
