Project Manager – Global IT Development | Technical Services

The Team:
The Global Technology Development Innovation Team is at the center of all of McDonald’s key innovation initiatives. This team serves in a critical role of determining how to integrate and leverage cutting edge technologies in the McDonald’s ecosystem – across Digital and Restaurant systems.
The Tech Innovation team is in search of a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager. The team is responsible for providing early operation testing, visibility, impact assessment of operation and technology enabling early learning and decreasing time to market. The Tech Innovation team achieves this through the implementation of new IT concepts in our Innovation Center Tech Loft / MHQ Restaurant Experience Studio (and Tech Seed restaurants), working on new concepts in our lab and pilot restaurants and assisting Global Markets to enable concepts in pilot restaurants.
The successful candidate for this role would have technical and operational aptitude, personal curiosity, flexibility and project leadership skills to lead the activities for innovation projects at McDonalds.
· 5+ years professional work experience
· 1+ year as a PM
· McDonald's business experience/restaurant experience preferred
· Field testing and/or technology deployment experience
· Customer service focus | Stakeholder Management
· Ability to manage projects end to end
· Ability to communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders
· Ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships
· Ability to assemble and clearly communicate technical information to all levels of the organization

· Understanding of business risk & financial impact of technical decisions
· Preferred Technical knowledge: Knowledge of McDonald’s POS, Kiosk, MOP and other restaurant technologies.
· Deliver and maintain technical solutions through management of a team performing configuration, lab/facility testing, and small-scale deployment (pilot)
· Understand business and Ops requirements in order to discern technology impacts and create appropriate project plans
· Stakeholder management, collaboration and communication
· Internal team-building, upskilling resource management
· Coordinate and/or execute plans to ensure that technical solutions meet the needs of the business
· Ensures the creation of documentation through project learnings, manuals, how-to procedures and related user documentation
· Leverage Tech Seed Store labs, QA resources and support activity is scheduled and managed
· Work with McDonald’s Operation and Technical Product teams to create solutions to evolve the current processes
