Summary

The Maximo Subject Matter Expert will lead the data conversion activities between HAPG's Asset Suite 8/9 and Maximo. The individual will work directly with the Conversion Lead to ensure that all configurations, code and mapping are in place to support conversion between Maximo and ABB Asset Suite. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that deliverables meet client standards and expectations. The successful candidate will work on multiple tasks simultaneously and be a team player.

This position will be reporting to the Conversion Lead.

Responsibilities

• Leads Maximo to Asset Suite 8/9 Data Conversion activities
• Coordinates with the Principal Conversion SMA to ensure all system codes, preferences, security, employee records, simple and complex codes, etc. required for Maximo consolidation to Asset Suite, are properly loaded and maintained within the Asset Suite Gold Environments
• Coordinates with the Principal Conversion SMA to ensure all required mapping from Maximo to Asset Suite is properly addressed in the conversion rules, data mapping, and translations
• Coordinates Mock Conversion Maximo scope/schedules with the Principal Conversion SMA and Conversion Lead
• Coordinates with the Business Integration Team to establish data conversion rules, or translations required in the transformation from Maximo to Asset Suite 9
• Coordinates with the EAM Technical SMA to ensure all Asset Suite 8/9 system code requirements, preferences, etc. are addressed during the EAM consolidation

Job Specific Requirements

• 4-year college degree or relatable professional experience
• Functional Business Knowledge of Work Management (Plant Equipment records, Work Orders, Work Instructions), Preventive Maintenance Programs and Bill of Materials
• Technical knowledge of Maximo backend system
• Functional knowledge of Asset Suite, is a plus
• Conversion experience from Maximo to Asset Suite is a plus
• Conversion experience from Asset Suite to Maximo is a plus
• Technical knowledge of Maximo backend system
• At least 5 years’ experience in IBM Maximo Configuration (Workflow, Application Designer, Conditional User Interface (UI), Data Design).
• General Consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm – running workshops; defining requirements; mapping processes; developing technical specifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project)

• A team player with the willingness to assist coworkers on other projects as required
• Understanding of the business analysis and project management methods
• Understanding of System Development Lifecycle (Waterfall and Agile)
