Manages the development and execution of medium to large complex, multi-phased projects with external project dependencies. Promotes client satisfaction by ensuring project adheres to stakeholder specifications. Responsible for project completion within determined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
 

Job Summary

Working within Ensono’s Public Cloud Center of Excellence, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of Public Cloud projects into Azure and AWS and the delivery of Productivity projects.

The Public Cloud Center of Excellence is Ensono’s dedicated business unit for Public Cloud and Productivity; you will be working alongside the subject matter experts in these fields and be delivering cutting edge solutions to a broad spectrum of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and co-ordinate projects from point of sales hand over through to client sign-off of all project deliverables.
• Select, lead and motivate the project teams.
• Deliver projects following the documented processes utilizing PMP best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Proactively manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and change.
• Continual improvement, maintaining a lesson’s learned log and ensure lessons are acted upon.
• Maintain project reporting internally and externally as per the agreed frequency and standards.

Knowledge

• Wide experience of the IT Industry
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) highly desirable
• Experience with Productivity desirable
• Strong Estimating and planning skills
• Risk management

Skills

• Proficient in the use of MS Project
• Strong communication skills, ability to engage with client and Ensono stakeholders at all management levels
• Ability to influence project teams to ensure the successful project implementation
• You should be a highly organized individual
• PMI certification, such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP  highly  desirable
• PRINCE2 Foundation certification desirable

Experience

The successful candidate should have proven experience of working within IT and managing IT projects for a minimum 3 years, 5 or more years preferred.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience delivering cloud projects.
