As Project Manager (Trading Systems), you will be expected to globally manage multiple projects at one time in various phases of development. You will have the ability to meet or exceed established goals including speed to market, data quality & budget. You will be involved in the full project life-cycle from analysis, development, integration, deployment, test and UAT. The Project Manager holds the key project relationship with senior executives from both Business and Trading Technology and ensures that a successful business outcome is the principal measure of success. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in expanding and developing their knowledge by working in a fast-paced online trading company.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Provide business systems planning of applications used globally
• Develop and analyze trading team requirements
• Managing and building current and new trading platforms
• Effectively manage resources, governance, timelines and profitability
• Apply business analysis skills to complicated business needs and make recommendations for preferred solutions 
• Gather support requests and filter them for support/development resolution
• Globally monitor external and internal IT development departments in delivering trading platform from inception to go-live
• Actively manage the project in terms of sprint planning, prioritization and risk identification with offshore development teams;
• Define and track project objectives while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs 

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Systems, or a business-related degree
• 6+ years’ experience in Project Management, preferably within brokerage firms/financial industry
• Hold a Project Management certification such as: PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP: Project Management Professional, CPMP: Certified Project Management Practitioner or similar certification
• Technical proficiency to challenge technology constraints and trade-offs with technical team (internal or external)
• Experience managing IT solutions in a fast-paced, trading environment 

• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate issues clearly using appropriate technical vocabulary;
• Experience working with Web/Mobile FX trading platforms, or other relevant back-end and front-end systems
• Experience managing projects across multiple product lines
• Knowledge of compliance and legal aspects of systems delivery and usage in a business environment
• Knowledge of FIX and REST APIs integrations and project manage/technically help in integrations with external clients
• Experience of working in Agile environments (SCRUM experience is an added advantage)
• Awareness of the Software Delivery Methodologies (e.g. Agile)
• Proficiency in JIRA and Microsoft Office products
