Project Manager: RXBAR is the fastest growing nutrition bar brand in the country. Our explosive growth is propelled by cohesive planning and flawless execution. To enable our business to continue growth at the current rate and beyond, we need to ensure our ERP is evolving and being optimized to support the business. We believe that this role will be a critical component to setup RXBAR for long-term success.

The Project Manager will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of RXBAR’s companywide project management practice. This role will initially focus on organizing and managing projects for Systems & IT, and then eventually on supporting our fast-paced growth through scoping and managing commercialization projects.

Our ideal candidate is strong at collaborating cross-functionally, remaining calm under pressure, being flexible, and influencing teams in an effective and empathetic manner. This role will enable the organization to maintain speed, provide visibility, and unlock efficiencies.

General Functions + Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructural Projects – Systems & IT and Organization-wide
    • Build the master list of current and upcoming infrastructure-related projects in a simplified and easy-to-use format
      • Manage the process to add new projects
      • Develop KPIs to track each project’s performance
    • Establish and efficiently lead regular meetings with key stakeholders to review project performance
    • Scope projects, build timelines with cross-functional alignment that capture dependencies, facilitate day-to-day components of the project, and track progress
    • Drive projects to execution, communicating key updates to senior management and motivating the working teams to keep projects on track
    • Build tools for the Systems & IT team to use to organize, prioritize, and track the progress of activities beyond projects, while also bringing visibility to the company
    • Lead weekly meetings with Systems & IT to run through KPI results and various organizational tools to identify priority areas
    • Partner with Systems & IT to identify new projects based on patterns of regular inquires or recurring errors
  • Collaboration
    • Approach projects and process with a Continuous Improvement perspective, identifying opportunity areas for change
    • Receive and provide feedback in a direct and active manner, providing examples and collaborating to determine tactical improvement plans
    • Hold team members accountable for their workstreams, while also remaining empathetic and maintaining motivation
  • Systems & IT and Operations Training
    • Determine the organization’s training needs as it relates to Systems & IT and Operations by auditing existing training and conducting stakeholder interviews to evaluate and identify skill and productivity gaps
    • Design a training plan and prepare the training materials (visual aids, handouts, decks, evaluation forms, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ years of experience running projects or initiatives through a full cycle to execution
  • Training experience is a plus
  • Experience managing multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced, challenging environment with competing priorities, and the ability to shift priorities quickly
  • Proven success and comfort in presenting to senior leadership and working teams in a concise and effective manner
  • Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus
  • Highly organized
  • Calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity rapidly
