Agile Program Manager
Being an Agile Program Manager at iManage means…
The Agile Program Manager (APgM) is will be responsible for facilitating the Program Increment (PI) Planning processes and execution, as well as managing the release of the Minimum Business Increments (MBIs) delivered at the end of the Program Increment (PI). This person will help assure value delivery, escalate team challenges, manage risk, and drive continual improvement. The APgM will help adapt the iManage Scaled Agility Framework to the organization, standardizing and documenting practices.
iM Responsible For…
- Establishing cadence and facilitating events such as Program Increment (PI) or Release Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Program-level Retrospective or Inspect & Adapt (I&A) Workshops
- Responsible for coordinating the deployment of the MBIs to Production by working with the System team including QA/QE, Release Engineering and DevOps
- Owns all unassigned action items for the program until the right owner is assigned
- Owns reporting on program status in all directions
- Fostering a team of collaborative environment breaking down silos between groups and contributing to the Agile community through participation in the internal process
- Facilitating Product Planning readiness by encouraging a Continuous Exploration process
- Maintaining metrics that provide value and transparency to stakeholders
- Working cross-functionally to align strategy, methodology and execution
- Coaching, mentoring, and reinforcing Lean and Agile practices with Program teams, stakeholders, and peers
- Driving program, release level, and enterprise improvement and standardization activities across the program when applicable
- Identifying and tracking opportunities for continuous operational and/or team improvements
- Supporting Program’s current delivery of working software, while balancing time by also collaborating with program leadership team members to prepare the backlog of upcoming work
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
- Demonstrated experience in running multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Proven experience in providing program-level leadership and driving program-level events
- Ability to execute and deliver solutions strategically using Agile software tools
- Leadership experience and ability to influence at all levels of business
- Experience working in a SAFe Essentials Layer is required
