What You'll Do
This role will lead a couple of scrum teams for resolving security vulnerabilities in open source libraries, building remediation plans including risk acceptances. The role additionally will run a project of adoption of the remediation plans by the development community. Tracking progress and reporting on adoption and taking the vulnerability solutions to closure. This role will work very closely with the security team and the development community. This role will also handle projects along with a couple of Scrum Teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Organize Open Source Library Jira Boards and related Confluence pages

  • Meet with all Security Services groups and development community to review their current state Jira boards, Confluence pages, and requirements for future state boards
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to Security management on how to update Jira board structure, processes, and documentation across the department (for both ad-hoc and planned work)
  • Implement agreed upon recommendations/changes including but not limited to
    • Facilitating scrum calls to clean up and help teams to maintain boards, manage backlog items
    • Creating labeling and documentation guidelines/requirements
    • Working with management to define prioritization framework and implement framework
    • Working with teams to develop epics/stories that follow the updated process
  • Deliverables:
    • Reorganized Jira Boards for Open Source Library and dev teams
    • Documentation outlining a standardized Jira methodology, processes, workflows, etc.
    • Clean up and build out of Confluence Pages


Develop various reporting avenues (e.g., Jira and/or Tableau Dashboards, Confluence tables, etc.) to support metrics, tracking and reporting activities

  • Meet with management to document and prioritize needs
  • Execute/create reporting (e.g., to provide better visualization into work)
  • Deliverables:
    • Updated reporting on Jira story progress (e.g., dashboards, tracking, etc.)


Create and provide training

  • Create How-to guides on updated processes, and use of Jira and Confluence
  • Provide training to Security staff on updated processes
  • Deliverables:
    • Training workshops with Security staff
    • Training documentation that can be utilized for future training
  • Work closely with the CMDB and Service Now teams to track and report on status of open source library vulnerability solutions
  • Lead projects as a Project Manager for technology operations and for Open Source related phased projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum Methodologies
  • Knowledge of Confluence page creation, dashboards, creating various content including JIRA tables, timelines, etc.
  • Proficient in Jira (creating stories/epics, grooming, labeling, story points, sprint reviews, board management, etc.)
  • Scrum Master Certification(s)
  • Project management Certification(s)
  • Proficient at leading projects across different verticals and cross impacted teams.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge with an understanding of open source library
  • 7 to 11 years experience in Scrum Master and Project Management related activities.


Technical Skills:

  • Tableau knowledge a plus
  • Advanced JQL Querying (for JIRA) knowledge a plus


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA/MS is a plus.
  • Advanced JQL Querying (for JIRA) knowledge a plus
  • 7 to 1 years experience in Scrum Master and Project Management related activities


Certificates or Licenses:

  • Scrum Master Certification(s)
  • Project management Certification(s
