Job Description Summary

The Senior Director of Market Development is a newly created position based on our overall success and growth in the OEM market. This individual will report to our OEM Services General Manager. This position requires a well-rounded consultative professional that will be able to partner cross functionally with multiple internal teams. We want someone who can build bridges and has a great ability to develop new products and align projects to company initiatives. The role is a combination of both outward (OEM customers and related new product initiatives) and inward (operational reporting and program management) facing responsibilities working with clients and internal teams.

Job Duties

• Lead and facilitate the development of the OEM Services Business plan.
• Collaborate with the OEM sales team, and CCC customers on development of market- and product strategies
• Interface with car companies fixed-ops/service, telematics, autonomous driving and mobility divisions to gather requirements for next-generation CCC products
• Oversee program management for new customer engagements.
• Act as a consultant to the OEMs’ emerging digitization and monetization departments, devising new strategies that benefit both CCC and its customers.
• Reports out to senior CCC management the operational metrics of the OEM Services business, including sales operations, business planning and budgeting in a highly measured fashion.

The ideal candidate will have had exposure to the automotive industry, either through interactions with car companies or their supplier base. A strategy consulting background is strongly desired given the nature of the engagements with our OEM customers. He or she should be experienced in devising and delivering on strategies and product positioning with our customers in such a way to generate interest in CCC’s offerings.

The position requires strong leadership skills in managing both directly and through influence to commit and deliver product solutions and the associated revenue growth for CCC. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of total experience in general management like functions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategy Consulting.
• Some domain experience in the Automotive industry is required
• Minimum 2 years of Project/Program Management experience
• Previous Financial Modeling & Business Case Development experience is required
• Strong Collaboration skills as this person will be working with multiple divisions of CCC
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• MBA degree is preferred but not required
