Job Description
Senior DMS (Discover Management System) Process Improvement Project Managers are primarily responsible for the planning and execution of the most complex, cross-functional, and impactful projects across the company. Their efforts will translate company strategies into action, deliver significant ROI, reduce risk, and achieve enterprise-wide strategic objectives. Additional responsibilities include partnering with cross functional business stakeholders in support of Process Management projects aimed at developing the Process Owner role and community supporting talent acquisition/development initiatives. Senior DMS Process Improvement Project Managers will also serve as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders and spearhead innovative solutions, while partnering with key support functions such as Finance, HR, and Compliance during implementation. They work under minimal supervision of a Senior Manager, DMS to ensure that all tasks are completed while promoting a risk-aware culture and ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. Identifies opportunities that need to be defined, gaps in existing process, and improvements to the Process Owner role and community. Helps to plan, manage, and facilitate large monthly and quarterly meetings, to further the engagement of the community.
Responsibilities
- Develops and communicates project schedules and tools. Leads updates and presentations
- Develops relationships with key constituents necessary to deliver project results, including: internal team, cross-functional work team, project steering committee, and support functions.
- Collaborates with team members to understand customer and business needs. Conducts analyses of current state, drive root-cause-analyses, develops insights, identify solutions, designs future states, and deliver solutions with sustainable results.
- Improves the Lean project execution methodologies. Contributes to internal team development.
- Analyzes metrics that align to business operations. Creates scorecards, monitors scorecard performance, identifies and communicates gaps, identifies solutions, oversees implementation, and develops control plans. Ensures solutions are maintained.
- Creative ability to help stretch the thinking of the team and to help plan fun and engaging events and meetings, generating excitement across the Process Owner community and throughout the enterprise.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Social Science
- 4+ years of experience process improvement in business operations, industrial engineering; internal/in-house or consulting or operational support capacity, or related.
- 4+ years of experience planning/executing cross-functional projects
Preferred Qualifications
