The Senior Platform Manager for Conversant’s Real-Time Advertising platform is responsible for steering the investments made in a key enabling technology. Collaborating closely with our engineering, and product management organizations to enhance and grow the platform, a platform producing billions of sophisticated marketing decisions per day, and generating tangible outcome for our clients, across all marketing channels. 

 

Key tasks include conducting technology and architecture research, requirement gathering from other product management stakeholders and business owners, writing requirements, prioritizing relevant product backlogs, maintaining product roadmaps, providing documentation and training, and continuously monitoring the product health.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet with end users to gather feature enhancements and validate new platform capabilities concepts
  • Write business cases and cost/benefit analysis based on user and buyer analysis, competitive studies and industry research
  • Write stories (or requirements) and maintain a prioritized backlog of platform enhancements
  • Work with engineering teams during sprint cycle to validate design and provide quick feedback
  • Develop and communicate all support document ranging from user guide, sales training, product marketing messaging to materials and go-to-market strategy and train sales and all supporting organizations
  • Define KPIs and set goals that align with company initiatives
  • Be an internal advocate of your platform and provide all necessary communication to management and stakeholders

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years in product management or related roles
  • 5+ years’ experience managing software applications, preferably in advertising technology related to ad-serving, DSP, exchanges and RTB
  • Experience in being a Scrum Product Owner in an agile development environment
  • Experience in defining product roadmap
  • Experience in writing detailed business case and requirements and presenting to stakeholders
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Solid grasp of HTML, SQL, JavaScript technologies
  • Experience in defining and managing KPI dashboard
  • Strong time management, business and organizational skills
