SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - GAMES

Home Based - UK

A Senior Project Manager ensures the highest quality consumer data on video gaming research studies based on client objectives, industry knowledge, and research experience; serves as a consultant to the client, the account and analytical teams, the internal operations departments, and external vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tracking Research

  • Act as the lead Project Developer contact and collaborate with the Analytical team members on global operations for a multi-country tracking program
  •  Coordinate operations (field, programming, data processing, translations, etc.) to ensure study specifications are accurately executed per plan, budget, and timing.
  • Participate in regular communication between the client, the internal Games team, and external vendors to manage the research process from initial discussions through data delivery.
  • Translates client objectives and analyst data needs into appropriate survey questions and interview techniques. Leads survey development discussions with the clients.
  • Coordinates, communicates, and documents all study issues, deadlines, schedules, and changes utilizing the appropriate tools.
  • Ensures error-free online surveys from the programming team.
  • Attends client presentation/meetings/consultations, as requested.

Custom research

  • Interact independently with the client, the account team, and the appropriate operations departments on study specific issues and problems
  • Collaborate with analyst and client on study objectives, study design, and proposal
  • Serve as the client contact on the questionnaire, concept stimuli (including review) and data collection
  • Translate client objectives and analyst data needs into survey questions, respondent sample, and interview designs. Leads survey development discussions with the clients.
  • Ensure interview length is within reasonable standards, proper question sequence is used, appropriate scales and answer choices are provided, and that the overall interview will result in quality data
  • Follow all project steps including checking the program, and managing the questionnaire translation process
  • Attend client presentations/meetings/consultations, as requested
  • Act as a resource/trainer for junior staff

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a research agency with project management responsibility
  • Proven experience with consumer survey-based/primary research and field methodologies
  • Attention to detail
  • Client service skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational & Multi-tasking skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment.
  •  Passion/Interest for the video game industry would be a great asset
