We’re looking for an experienced senior level security Program Manager to oversee the execution of large, complex programs across multiple teams, functions, and departments. This highly-visible role will use their experience in project management methodologies to drive the planning and execution of work across our Product and Technology teams while connecting and providing transparency to our business partners across the organization.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
- Coordinate and track individual projects, programs and initiatives that support company strategic plans and product/services roadmap to drive business results. Foster an environment of collaboration, partnership, customer focus, quality, excellence, urgency, accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation. Define expectations and metrics and monitor performance.
- Manage delivery of complex security projects in a diverse matrixed technology environment with multiple stakeholders and multiple resource pools.
- Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership.
- Develop strong partnerships with business and functional leaders to drive focus on strategic program business objectives and optimize program throughput.
- Manage project operational aspects, scope, change management, and track scheduled progress through the appropriate metrics to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Drive strategic cross-functional planning, leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with stakeholders to develop program plans, including roadmap, dependency identifications, and resourcing plan.
- Communicate clearly and effectively to executive leadership and business stakeholders on the plans, status and critical issues. Escalate urgent issues appropriately and driving them to closure in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present regular status updates for the initiative, including roadmaps, project timelines, and action plans.
- Partner with Finance to align on process improvements, including capital accounting procedures and budgeting.
- Communicate clearly and effectively to executive leadership and business stakeholders on the plans, status and critical issues. Escalate urgent issues appropriately and driving them to closure in a timely manner.

Bonus points for...
- Knowledge of key security areas such as Risk Analysis, Policy Creation, and Auditing.
- Knowledge of Security Best Practices pertaining to Network, Server, Database, Web Services, Identity Management, Access Management and Event Management.
- Experience with security penetration testing, tools, and security portfolio management. Experience with implementation of security tools, management, and monitoring of security systems.
- Solid understanding of information technology core areas including; operating systems, network security, application architecture, firewall/IPS operations, Active Directory, malware and vulnerability prevention controls and best practices.
- Knowledge of published security standards and risk management processes including internal audit and information security management.
- Ability to quickly understand complex issues and develop/apply simplifying frameworks to facilitate broader organizational understanding, decision-making, and action.
- Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
- Expert relationship building and partnering skills, negotiation and consensus building.
- 5 + years of experience as a Program Manager within a technology or e-commerce organization.
- Solid understanding of different software development lifecycle models and expert knowledge in agile and traditional principles, with the ability to blend processes to find the right fit for technology and our business.
- Experience working with Security and Compliance related projects, including PCI and SOX Compliance and regular audits.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, with public speaking expertise presenting at meetups and conferences.
