This position
DocuSign is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to support our CLM Technical Operations team. This Program Manager will need to have a broad technical background in both Windows and Linux infrastructures, and an understanding of other components, such as load balancers, data storage platforms, database technologies, and networking components.

To be successful this Program Manager will need to be self-directed but also capable of taking instruction and being led. This role will interface with several teams on wide ranging projects requiring clear communication and strong organization skills.This position reports to the Director, Product Operations Management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for initiating programs across the Tech Ops, Development, Product, QA, and Performance organization to support company initiatives in scaling and supporting DocuSign infrastructure.
  • Interact closely with the Tech Ops teams to negotiate scope and timelines with technical dependencies to support critical initiatives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Provide leadership from project definition to completion in order to optimize the value of the project to the organization.
  • Ensure Tech Ops teams are consistently considering application telemetry, performance, reliability, resilience, security, and compliance throughout the project life-cycle.


Basic Qualifications

  • Broad technical experience in both Windows and Linux based networks.
  • Understanding of the functionality and features of various IT infrastructure components, including but not limited to: load balancers and traffic management, switches, VLANs, firewalls, identity management, access controls, hypervisors, source control, .NET framework and .NET core, SQL and noSQL databases, object storage platforms, and configuration management platforms
  • Experience supporting large scale, highly available, complex SaaS platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Keen ability to communicate ideas effectively with executives and engineering teams
  • Track record of problem solving ranging from conceptualization to implementation
  • Ability to juggle and manage several priorities and drive clarity for TechOps engineers
  • A proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and sensitive situations
  • Ability to coordinate tasks across functional groups, manage cross-functional projects to completion, communicate and coordinate with a wide variety of individuals and teams
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience as a Technical Program Manager, Support, or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Data Center environment and/or with a SaaS provider
  • Experience writing technical documentation
  • Project Management experience expected
