We’re looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our global Professional Services team in our Chicago office. Your main responsibility in the medium term will be to plan, scope and implement data migration projects for our North American clients onto the latest version of our platform. 

In this client facing, highly consultative role, you will work closely with the Client Success, Professional Services, Learning as well as the Product teams to deliver efficient, reliable migrations for our existing clients, setting them up for continuous success on the Practifi platform. 

What you’ll do:

• Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to successful completion.
• Creation and management of migration project schedules, whilst considering potentials risk and impact on client operations.
• Ensuring data and functional security by conducting post migration playbacks to clients through testing and training.
• Detailed and effective documentation of migration processes whilst creating internal documents to list all lessons incorporated during these projects.
• Creation of status reports for internal and external stakeholder meetings to facilitate decision making as well as providing updates on progress.
• Daily management of project resources as well as expectations, which may involve regular liaison with clients’ project teams and documenting the solutions proposed.
• Daily management and escalation of project control processes, including task management, scope/change and quality control.
• Quickly building strong relationships with Clients- setting the foundation for a lasting relationship.
• Assist with functional on-boarding of new project resources, providing instruction on project processes & tools.
• Assist with internal initiatives, including improving current project methodology and templates.
• Consulting and advising clients on best practices within the product, and providing suggestions for their change management, specifically around their data migration.

About You:

• 7+ years data migration project management experience a must.
• Extensive experience working with CRM migration projects, ideally Salesforce. 
• Project Management certification ideal.
• Business Analysis certification ideal.
• Knowledge of Change Management best practices.
• Understanding of quality management frameworks.
• Ability to learn and bed in new technology and features with ease.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Flexible and seek clarity when faced with ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain ideas clearly and concisely. 
• You have a consultant’s demeanour with a penchant for finding the path of least resistance.
• Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.
