the job

The Senior Business Analyst will manage all financial deliverables for a large enterprise client. This person will create and manage all financial reporting in order to propose strategic program enhancements and development of InnerWorkings’ solution with the client.

responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client contracts and implement standard and custom reports to fit our new and existing client needs
  • Project manage a list of strategic initiatives regarding business process improvement using data and analytics
  • Track, measure, and report back to senior management on the progress of these initiatives
  • Drive ROI through operational analysis and support the business process team to make operational improvements
  • Provide analysis to management on Account Team’s performance including but not limited to; profitability, DSO metrics,
  • Proactively participate in our client’s planning sessions for procurement initiatives.
  • Establish and refine the program scope as well as business requirements to document best practices and all changes to SOW.
  • Deliver analysis for internal and external business reviews. Communicate and monitor open issues for remediation.
  • Maintain account business knowledge documents.

requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, project manager or consultant.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in creating and managing various kinds of reporting.
  • Extremely high level of written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact across many offices and levels of business.
  • Strong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to professionally drive change and process.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office – Highly proficient in Excel and Access db.  Working knowledge of Visio is a plus.
  • PowerBI experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, follow-up and a proactive work style.
  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.
