Job Description
The Supplier Diversity Program Manager will support the management, execution, and development of the Supplier Diversity Program. This highly visible role will work directly with Procurement, Suppliers, Customers and external partners to increase business opportunities with diverse suppliers.
Responsibilities:
First line responder; ability to pivot between strategy and operations
Work with Procurement to ensure diverse supplier inclusion through strategic sourcing activities
Work with Sales to ensure competitive advantage and contract compliance
Maintain Supplier Diversity intake process including supplier registration and correspondence
Educate our partners and provide appropriate program documentation
Track and eport diversity spend against corporate, category and customer goals
Identify and establish business relationships with potential diverse suppliers
Communicate and design messages to increase internal awareness and engagement
Serve as outreach liaison to external organizations and partners, as required
Qualifications:
Familiarity with procurement sourcing processes and methodologies within a global organization
Strong organizational, project and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated and able to think clearly under pressure
Ability to grow, evolve with the role and organization
Team oriented, motivated self-starter with strong relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively reach out across organizational boundaries, mobilize resources and subject matter experts from many teams and groups to achieve objectives
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required
2 years of procurement, supply chain, corporate responsibility or project management experience.
