Purpose of the Role:

Pampered Chef, a global brand delivering high-quality kitchen solutions through a network of over 100,000 independent consultants and a rapidly growing online business. We began as a Chicago-based start-up in 1980 and today are part of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies. Due to our expediential growth we are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator that will be responsible for analyzing from end to end North American inventory. This role will work cross functionally with many departments including Quality, Accounting, Distribution, Product Development, and etc.  

Key Responsibilities

• Execute purchase order expediting requests, as well as tracking key shipments into stock at the distribution center.
• Maintain accurate records for estimated departure and arrival dates for inbound containers in the ERP system.
• Place purchase orders for indirect spend items (i.e. marketing materials, labels, etc.) and work with those suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Work with the Distribution and Accounts Payable Teams to resolve supplier receiving discrepancies compared to purchase order agreements.
• Generate routine reporting that proactively identifies supply chain issues and tracks key metrics to support the Purchasing, Planning, Sourcing and Logistics teams.
• Other projects and general clerical duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
