The Technology Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the appropriate routines within technology to ensure we remain complaint with key audit requirements. They will additionally provide expertise in ensuring our routines are enabling to our product development and technology teams.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience 
  • Proven knowledge of and experience leading the ITGC area of SOX Audits 
  • Familiarity with Information Provided by Entity (IPE) testing
  • Experience in an environment that develops financial relevant software is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of SOC I, SOC II and ISO 27001 audit requirements
  • Ability to self-identify and remediate potential audit gaps
  • Experience engaging directly with external auditors
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent audit engagements

During the last three months, you would have:

  • Led all functions related to ensuring compliance for ITGC within our SOX audit, including evidence collection, auditor engagement and scheduling, process design reviews, and access control reviews.
  • Partnered with various areas of the organization including Finance, HR, Product Development and Technology Operations to identify opportunities to improve our technology controls
  • Acted as the primary contributor for Technology Operations in our preparation for ISO 27001 certification, including remediating Areas of Concern from pre-audit testing
  • Provided guidance related to compliance questions to Technology teams looking improve their delivery pipeline for a financially relevant SaaS based product. 
  • Led efforts to identify gaps in existing controls to ensure readiness for SOC II Audit
  • Assisted our Governance Risk and Compliance team with ensuring our readiness for GDPR.
