As a Proposal Writer you will be responsible for producing responsive, compliant, and persuasive proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFP).
Responsibilities

  • Manages the Proposal Development process from inception to submission.
  • Develops proposal schedules and determines author assignments.
  • Coordinates with colleagues from Sales, Professional Services, and Legal to ensure timely and successful completion of proposals.
  • Researches, writes, and edits proposal content, as necessary.
  • Integrates win themes and discriminators into proposals.
  • Contributes to content management system to help maintain a library of standard responses.
  • Develops and assembles all documents necessary for RFP response.
  • Oversees the production and shipping of hard copy proposals, as necessary.
  • Becomes knowledgeable of business objectives and our product/service offerings and develops expertise in our value proposition.
  • Assists in completing Security Questionnaires for prospective clients.
  • Leads projects related to RFx requests.
  • Continuously looks for ways to be more efficient.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from accredited university in related discipline.
• Proposal Writer: 1 to 4 years of experience responding to RFPs.
• Experience in RFP writing for a SaaS or Insured-tech company preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and RFPIO or other RFP database tools
• APMP certification or Shipley trainings are a major bonus
• Ability to take ownership of project delivery, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.• Ability to work independently.

Our Chicago HQ office is situated right on the river at LaSalle & Wacker – convenient to both the Loop and River North neighborhoods downtown. The building itself has a few restaurants inside along with plenty others within a one block radius. It is public transit friendly as well!
