• Guaranteed Rate is looking for a new Real Estate Project Manager.

   

  Who is GR?

  Guaranteed Rate is not your typical company and certainly not your typical mortgage company. No really, the train rumbles past our windows.   Responsibilities:

  • To plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of commercial construction and renovation projects.
  • Work closely with Real Estate, Facilities, Design and IT teams to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as communicate updates and support required from other internal departments.
  • Provide guidance on space plans and furniture layouts.
  • Drive the bid process with vendors from multiple disciplines including general contractors and individual trades. Negotiation skills are a must.
  • Procure and manage outside specialists (i.e. architects and consultants) as required.
  • Manage and obtain municipal approvals as required including building permits. Experience with City of Chicago permits a must.

   

  Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency and understanding of commercial real estate leases, terms and processes
  • Strong organizational and computer skills a must.
  • Experience with lease administration platforms a plus.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem solver and works well on a team.
