As a Wholesale Credit Risk Administration Vice President within the Commercial Banking Risk team, you will help spearhead Risk document governance. Reporting to the Head of Document Governance and Audit Management, your role will involve collaboration with Credit Risk Administration, Commercial & Investment Bank Credit Officers, Control Management, Wholesale Document Governance and Credit Product teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the Commercial Banking Risk Document Governance process as the Secretary of the Commercial Term Lending Risk Document Subcommittee.
• Serve the Commercial & Investment Bank Document Governance process as the Co-Secretary of the Commercial & Investment Bank Credit Risk Policy Committee.
• Manage the Commercial Banking Risk Policy Forum.
• Oversee the coordination and agenda of the Subcommittee meetings for Document Owners and Subcommittee members. Responsible for minutes and ensuring Subcommittee open items are resolved on a timely basis.
• Review, provide feedback and challenge to Subcommittee Risk documents.
• Assist Document Owners with the submission of documents to the Subcommittee and guide them through the annual review and off-cycle change management process.
• Partner collaboratively with Document Managers on our Document Governance team.
• Manage elevated credit approval Credit Exception Codes across Commercial Banking Risk documents.
• Champion the Firmwide Policy & Standard Portal and Commercial Banking Risk Resources intranet site.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor's degree with business focus from an accredited college/university required.
• 6 + years of experience in risk management, audit or control management.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments/functions and with senior-level individuals.
• Excellent project management skills - well-organized, ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.• Intellectual curiosity with proven ability to learn quickly, be flexible and willing to demonstrate personal responsibility and accountability.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Successful completion of a formal credit training program preferred.

The work covers areas such as evaluating country-specific risk, understanding regulatory changes and determining credit worthiness. Risk Management provides independent oversight and maintains an effective control environment.
