Job Description

The Risk and Return Management Senior Consultant II is a key contributor toward advancing the maturity of risk and return by furthering a culture of prudency and risk awareness. The role is accountable for participating in Risk and Return Management initiatives such as risk and control self-assessments, continuous monitoring, risk and control automation, department risk frameworks and profiles and building out measurements around risk. This role may be assigned to a risk category (e.g., strategic risk, culture risk, insurance risk, etc.), a sub-category of operational risk, board and regulatory reporting, or it may include client relationship management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, research, interpret, and analyze risk data to identify trends, emerging risks, and issues.

• Provide consultative risk management support including: identify, measure, manage, monitor, report and escalate significant risk issues.

• Execute on ERRM frameworks and optimizes enterprise risk and return management strategy.

• Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives in support of Enterprise Risk and Return objectives

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk and Return Management and its impact on the enterprise

• Accountable to escalate and report significant issues.

• Responsible for effective independent challenge of first line risk management activities, thematic reviews and ‘deep dives’.

• Communicate to leadership, this may include presenting information to risk leaders and or business unit leaders.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $62,800.00 - 114,175.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
