Role Description:

We are looking for sharp, driven people who have a passion for technology and working with people to solve problems. Account Development Representatives will primarily work with internal teams of Account Executives, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to help drive demand for new business (largely upsell/cross-sell) and to build brand value for new products and verticals in support of revenue targets. ADRs are the 'human' side of our Marketing efforts to evaluate/generate leads and advance down-funnel opportunities through product demonstrations, trials, and additional conversations. You will work the inside portion of the sales funnel and actively support the close of new & cross-sell business alongside your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development and execution of actionable territory plans including sales & business development initiatives to grow the business within the defined territory
  • Support AEs with firm-level research and relationship mappings to improve AE account and territory planning activities
  • Execute lead generation/sourcing strategies to drive pull-through demand and pipeline development through high volume of activity including inbound/outbound phone calls, emails, and social outreach
  • Build and cultivate customer relationships at multiple levels at law firms
  • Conduct product demonstrations independently as well as with pre-sales support team while showing strong knowledge of product features, use cases, and competitive landscape.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations and proposals
  • Support the advancement of the sales lifecycle for the opportunities specifically including lead nurturing/qualification and deal support
  • Support Account Executives to close deals
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales activities within the company's systems (Salesforce) while capturing critical information (competitive intelligence, customer needs, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Litera's corporate organization structure, personnel and team, pricing model, and product suite

Requirements:

  • One (1) + year's selling experience preferred. Working with (or selling in to) Law Firms is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a quota-carrying environment with proven ability to achieve and exceed value-add activity targets.
  • Must be able to generate new & cross-sell business by making outbound phone calls, have a strong phone presence and meet metric goals
  • Strategic thinker who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and modes (phone, email)
  • Interest and aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, a desire to win, and a desire to work for a winning organization
  • Must be self-disciplined, have great time management skills and have the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Resilience and persistence (5 touch points are often required with prospects / customers)
  • Worked in a software, service, and consultative environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
